A Spooky Blogtober: ZOMBIES

So this blog will be a bit different from other blogs I have posted. I go by zombie and I always get the question a lot, why zombie?

Well my obsession with zombies started when I was younger. I was very young indeed and I watched the original night of the living dead and was completely freaked out and intrigued at the same time. Dead people rising out of their graves to basically eat the living. Not gonna lie that messed with my head a bit.

“It has been established that persons who have recently died have been returning to life and committing acts of murder. A widespread investigation of funeral homes, morgues, and hospitals has concluded that the unburied dead have been returning to life and seeking human victims. It’s hard for us here to be reporting this to you, but it does seem to be a fact.”

Quote is from The Night Of The Living Dead.

So As I got older I of course watched more horror movies and tons of zombie movies. I’ve seen a range of million dollar movies/shows all the way down to super cheap filmed with a handheld camcorder movies.

The thing is, I love them all. There are so many different takes, ways, and ideas on how a zombie apocalypse could happen. Some are believable and some are down right hilarious.

Zombies are a huge part of my life. I know it sounds weird, it is one of the only things that truly shakes me to my core. I love to be scared and jump scares are fun, but the possibly of a lab experiment gone wrong and the whole world is taken over by flesh eaters frightens me and makes me feel super pumped all at the same time.

Some people may think it’s silly, or a waste of time, but the thing is it’s just their opinion.

Everyone has their own hobbies and things that they love and obsess over and mine just happens to be zombies!

Don’t forget to love what you love guys, and don’t let anyone else’s opinion away you from your passions!

My husband and myself made a short zombie film as well you can view it below.
