Neutrogena It’s In The Gel Review

This is a Sponsored Post, I did receive the following products for free for review. I was going to post my reviews on Instagram, but I felt like I had a lot to say, so I decided to do blog post. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I got three new masks from neutrogena. So let’s get down to what you came here for the reviews.

The smell is pleasant, I started out with a thin layer covering my whole face, then I added more to it to make sure all the pores on my face from my forehead all the way down to under my chin was covered. I had no burning or tingling sensation at all. It did feel cooling in this spring/early summer heat so that was a plus. I left it on my face for about 20 minutes since I made it thick, I wanted it to really dig down deep into my pores and clean them. After I washed it away I was stunned my face looked and felt so clean and even though it was a super deep cleaning mask my didn’t feel overly dry.

The deep clean purifying hydrogel mask is next up, it was easy to apply and had the same scent as the clay mask. It contains seaweed extract. It is supposed to soothe and refresh my skin, as I read further on I became a bit confused though it says after I’m done to massage in the remaining essence onto my face and neck and then rinse with water, I’ve never had any sheet masks or hydrogel type masks ever say to rinse off after. Anyway on to what I thought about it it was easy to apply to my face and once it was on it stayed in place and didn’t try slipping and sliding off my face. I only left it on for 15 mins and after removing it I massaged in the essence it absorbed really quickly and then rinsed my face. Did I see an actual difference in my skin you ask? Naw, not really. My skin felt and looked the same as it did before I used it mask.

On to the last one, the one that I was most excited about. The radiance boost brightening hydrogel mask. It’s supposed to brighten skin boost radiance and smooth skin texture. It contains vitamin b3 and blueberry leaf extract. I thoroughly that was interesting and also very important to share. The masks scent was more like a light rose scent and unlike the last hydrogel mask this one does not require you to rinse it off. I left it on for 20 mins and massaged the remaining essence in the package on my face and neck. I was actually surprised at this one I felt like it works as promised. My skin felt and looked more radiant, to me anyway so this one gets a thumbs up from me. After I applied my favorite moisturizer.
