Staring into the dark chasm in front of me I sigh
Parts of me unsure how or why
I got to this point not quite no return
Back to the old ways I could reform.
I could go back to job that pays my Bills,
Back to the daily going up hills
Running in place never falling but never trying
Never living but never dying.
Back to a world free of risk
Where I barely exist.
Where the ideas in my mind stay in my head
And no ones knows me after I’m dead.
I could go back to the world I knew
It would be the smart thing to do.
These thoughts run amiss
As I step into the abyss
